For those of us who own a dog or want to get a puppy, we know that house training the animal can be a pain. During the first few months, the dog has accidents inside the house which can ruin our carpets and floors.
While you work to train your dog to do its duty outside, your carpet suffers. But DeeDee blogged about her solution to this problem on Clover House.
Although her dog was an elderly guy, he recently began making a mess again. See how DeeDee fixed her carpet issue with the simple DIY cleaning hack she discovered below.
It was simple for DeeDee to remove the doggie stains once she got the right mixture. Her trick? Dawn dish soap and hydrogen peroxide.
DeeDee said that because her dog Trevoer is 16-years-old, he started having accidents again last year.
“Keeping our light colored carpet clean and keeping the house urine odor free is a chore now!” DeeDee wrote on her blog post. “Sometimes I catch the accident right after it happens, but mostly he does this while we aren’t home throughout the day and that causes the staining.”
But since discovering the cleaning trick, the chore has become much easier.
